Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Review

The last but not necessarily the least interesting member of the new Galaxy S20 family is in line for a comprehensive review. The compact smartphone category has been completely redefined, so now the Galaxy S20 is probably the best compact flagship phone you can buy today. You will find out all the advantages and disadvantages of the Galaxy S20 5G phone from this review.

If you place the Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra next to each other on the table, you will have no doubts about their similarity. The Galaxy S20 is the smallest of them so we could call it a younger brother or in this pink, a sister.
Lightweight, slim, sleek, attractive, and powerful, these are the adjectives that best describe this phone. Due to the new 20: 9 screen, never thinner frame, the Galaxy S20 is a really comfortable phone to use It does not burden the fist or the pocket. A real break compared to the bulky Galaxy S20 Ultra but also most phones today. I just rested, and best of all, no compromise because the Galaxy S20 is a full-blooded flagship phone. The quality of workmanship and the choice of materials are not in question. We have a tried and tested story with a metal frame and Gorilla Glass 6 glass on both sides, and it also carries IP68 waterproof certification.
Above the screen, next to the edge, is a speaker or earpiece. The selfie camera is in the mini hole in the screen, and the fingerprint reader is below.
You won't find anything on the left side, and on the right are the volume control buttons and the one for turning on / off the device, ie the Bixby Assistant. In the Side Key Settings, you can ban Bixby from that key and restore the good old shutdown menu. best compact today…
At the top of the phone is a drawer for two nano SIM cards or nano SIM and microSD and a secondary microphone. Below are USB C for charging, synchronizing but also connecting headphones, main microphone and main speaker. On the back, the Galaxy S20 brings the smallest camera module or the smallest stove as those to whom the camera module looks will say, more important than mom. It housed three eyes, another microphone and an LED flash.

The glass on the back is slightly rounded, which makes the device even more comfortable in the hand. This Galaxy S20 is definitely the easiest to handle with one hand and the easiest to sit with in your front pocket. This will be very high on the list of priorities for those with smaller hands and those who don't like the feeling when you can't tie shoelaces because of a cell phone in your pocket.
Although compared to the rest of the S20 team, tiny, it lacks nothing so if you’re looking for a compact flagship, go ahead, the Galaxy S20 is what you’ve been waiting for.
That story that the Galaxy S20 has all the bigger members of the S20 series holding water in terms of screens as well. Dynamic AMOLED 2X display in QHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, here it extends to 6.2 inches.
We’ll repeat that 120Hz refresh doesn’t slag at full resolution for now but trust me 1080p at 120Hz looks top on this screen as well. The color display is vivid, but get it in the settings and tame it if you prefer. The readability at an angle is excellent, and the lighting is strong for indoors and outdoors. Always On notification display is also supported, which will compensate for the absence of the notification LED.
All in all, it is an excellent screen in yet easily manageable dimensions. Samsung didn't skimp, so the Galaxy S20 has the same cameras as the Galaxy S20 + except for the ToF sensor without which it was left. You’ll still get one of the best selfie cameras on the front with a 10MP sensor, autofocus and 4K video at 60fps.
The rear carries three cameras: the main one with a 12MP sensor and f / 1.8 aperture lens, OIS and Dual Pixel PDAF autofocus. Records 8K 24fps and 4x60fps video. In addition to the main one, it also has a 12MP ultrawide camera and an optically stabilized 64 MP telephoto camera for 3x hybrid zoom and digital zoom up to 30x. The camera interface is also identical. It is well and logically arranged. You can easily jump between shooting modes in a flash, and in addition to Live Focus photo and video, it also supports Pro mode in camera and camcorder, Night mode and everything else we have on smartphone cameras by default today.
Some will also enjoy the 8K video at 24fps which is OK but not something you will use often. Just like the Galaxy S20 + although it doesn't have a 108MP sensor with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, this "little S20" captures great photos and videos with a lot of detail in a variety of shooting conditions. See some of the photos and videos taken in the mini gallery, and even more in full resolution at the link below:
Everything said about the software in the reviews of the Galaxy S20 + and Ultra stands here as well. Android 10 is covered by One UI 2.1 interface from Samsung. It looks nice, works smoothly, is packed with possibilities. Supports themes, Dark Mode, Split Screen and anything you like. The Edge screen is also handy - a menu that you pull out from the side.
