START YOUR COMPUTER WITH A
PEN-DRIVE
There was a time when Optical/CD drives were available in almost all computers and laptops.
In most cases, we used to install Windows in our system with the help of these, by putting Windows CD/DVD copies inside these drives. But as technology progressed, many things kept disappearing from our laptops and computers.
One of them was a CD/DVD drive. In the race to make laptops and computers slimmer and lighter, all companies gradually stopped giving this feature one by one.
Windows now come pre-installed on most laptops. Alternatively, you can go to the Windows website and purchase it directly. After the purchase, you will get a license key. You will be able to use it directly to download or upgrade your Windows.
But if you are looking for some other way rather than falling into these lumps, then a bootable USB drive might be a better option for you. It can be taken anywhere and used anytime.
In this method neither you will need any Optical/ CD drive, nor you need to download anything. Just once, you have to make your Pen drive or USB drive bootable. After this, you will be able to download or reset your Windows whenever you want.
Why is a Bootable USB drive needed?
A bootable USB drive is an option that you can use whenever you want. For this, you don't need any internet connectivity as you don't have to download anything. Apart from this, this method is very useful when your laptop Windows is not being started due to some reasons.
This may be due to a virus attack, or even due to a hardware failure. At that time, this method is not less than a panacea.

Copying does not mean picking up a file from somewhere and pasting it into your pen drive. There are different ways to do this. We will discuss the method which is easier to do.
If you have a Windows CD/DVD, you can copy the system file from it as well. If you do not have a copy of Windows, there is no need to panic. If you want, you can copy the system file from the installed Windows in your computer. Follow the steps given below.
