Design
It’s just like the 32 inch version with the same super slim frame. I think most TV sets use the same style these days.
Because this TV looks just like a Hisense Tv.
It comes with a wall bracket so it can be hung on a wall.
All in all, it looks nice and would spruce up any room it is placed in.
Display
This TV relies on LED backlights and has FHD display.
It renders crisp and clear visuals and I didn’t really have to tweak the settings to get good display.
The color separation is good too and the brightness and contrast ratio is acceptable.

This Haier Thermocool TV also comes with a wider viewing angle than the 32 inch tv.
So there is virtually no fading when watching from edge angles.
And the screen refresh rate is the same 60 hz so it can handle fast motion scenes.
It is also a passable game monitor. I won’t call it an ideal tv for gaming but you can hook up your PS3 to this TV and enjoy most games.
All in all, I find the display to be satisfactory and provides good value for money spent.
Sound
The sound is average. It’s good enough for mundane stuff like watching local channels and maybe playing low music.
But like the 32 inch size, this TV lacks good bass. Even when streaming content, it just doesn’t feel that good.
Of course I’m talking from the perspective of someone who is used to powerful sound systems.
So some people might find the sound from his TV adequate for their needs.
I just can’t overlook the absence of DTX enhancements and surround sound.
So in my opinion, a sound system is a required addition to this TV.
Energy Consumption
This TV consumes low power. No surprise since it uses LED panels which are known to use little power.
Any small gen would power this TV and it can withstand low voltage too.
Always use it with a surge protector to avoid the adverse effect of power surges.
Smart Features
This Haier Thermocool TV operates on Android OS. The interface is responsive and there is virtually no lagging.
You can stream from popular video platforms like YouTube and Netflix.
You also have access to Google apps which is one of the advantages of an Android TV.
It also has screen casting options- Eshare and a full app store.

I can’t say how long this TV will last but endeavor to take the right measures to prolong it’s lifespan.
Don’t allow it fall. It’s a very flat screen TV and a fall might prove fatal.
Use it with a surge protector.
